Midland Fuels is a renewable source energy company. We are comitted to using low carbon source fuels from sustainable sources.

Our site near Market Harborough is where our timber is seasoned and processed.The site is powered by a large Solar tracking PV system.

Our Melton Mowbray site is where the offices and small quanties of seasoned wood are stored. By operating from two sites in the East Midlands we are able to offer free delivery over a large area. (Please contact us for details.)

All our timber is from a sustainable source and is carefully harvested as part of an ongoing management plan; working closely with the Forestry Commission, ensuring the best sites and machinery are used.

From being cut down in the woods to arriving at your doorstep our logs have spent 12-24 months seasoning.  

The timber is delivered to our yard where it is left in the round before being processed in to lengths of approx. 9″ (however should you require logs shorter or a little longer we have some other lengths available, please contact us with your requirements).  

We run a system by which the logs are cut and split directly in to ventilated bulk bags, these are left out side during the summer to season further with the wind and sun and then placed inside the barn for winter so they are kept dry, ready for delivery.
